NaviTag Technologies completes successful Government backed field test of cargo tracking unit

Results publicly released, units perform above expectations.

Hingham, MA. August 7, 2003: Amid increasing concerns of the security of containerized freight, NaviTag has successfully completed field testing of its satellite based remote reporting seal. The goal of this Department of Transportation sponsored project was to establish whether such a device would be applicable to the rigors of global maritime containerized cargo. Seven International container shipments were secured spanning Europe, Asia, North and South America utilizing real cargo moves from commercial participants Bose, Hasbro, Hewlett-Packard and Jungbunzlauer.

NaviTag Technologies invited to participate in Department of Defense Demonstration

Participant in AGILE demonstration complete, secure domestic move of Military vehicles.

The Delaware River Maritime Enterprise Council (DRMEC) has invited NaviTag Technologies to participate in a US Department of Defense demonstration designed to enable the DoD to leverage commercial transport and logistics assets to improve strategic mobility requirements during times of peace and national need while minimizing disruptions to commercial operations.

NaviTag Technologies awarded grant for cargo tracking and security solutions under the Port Security Grant Program

June 19, 2002: NaviTag Technologies, Inc, the container cargo tracking and security alert technology company, today announced that it has been awarded an $875 thousand grant from the Port Security Grant Program to build a proof of concept prototype of their "NaviTag" tracking device.
