Boston, MA - July 17, 2002 - NaviTag Technologies, Inc, the container cargo tracking and security alert technology company, today announced that it has been chosen as the first place winner in the Palo Alto Software 2002 Business Plan Competition. Palo Alto Software, publisher of the Business Plan Pro software, selected NaviTag Technologies as the $25,000 grand prize winner from more than 100 competing entries. The judges selected the top business plans by analyzing different aspects of the plan, including the business' feasibility, its market opportunity, and the quality of the writing.
"NaviTag stood out as a good, solid, well-written plan with a well thought-out and intriguing concept," said competition judge, Steve Windhaus of Windhaus & Associates.
